Jennivere

A small India Ink and acrylic (approximately 5" X 8"), on Cresent Illustration Board done with brushes and my Paashe AB airbrush. Not a very big piece but turned out quite beautiful. I love womens' profiles. The shadows and highlights on necks, on shoulders and around collarbones are fantastic to look at. I often over exaggerate these features in my paintings. This piece was a small study for a very large one (2 X 3') I eventually painted. Hopefully I'll soon get that one shot and scanned to put on D'art also. On the large version I painted her against a considerably lighter background to furthur show off the shadows and curves I'm so fond of.
